Three Indian Nationals were seriously injured after three motorcycle-riding gunmen peppered their car with bullets in Pasay City yesterday afternoon.
Senior Police Officer 1 Calixto Jimenez identified the victims as Sunita Chohan, 55; Rajni Chohan, and Rupender Kumar, the vehicle’s driver. The three sustained gunshot wounds in the different parts of their bodies.
The fourth passenger, Farvie Chohan, also a relative of Sunita and Rajni, was unharmed.
Police found that the victims deposited money at the Equitable-PCIBank on Dian street in Makati. Jimenez said the victims were on their way home when the suspects attacked them.
When the victims reached Dominga street in Pasay City, the unidentified suspects started to shoot them while they were inside the car.
The suspects escaped after the shooting, reportedly taking P6,000 with them.
The victims were brought to the Manila Sanitarium Hospital, where they were immediately operated on.
