After the Philippine National Police (PNP) showed no objection to having San Juan Mayor Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito’s wedding held in Tanay, former President Joseph Estrada now wants to have the wedding done in San Juan town.
In a three-page omnibus motion filed yesterday before the Sandiganbayan, Estrada’s lawyer Alberto Flaminiano said they are withdrawing their second motion for reconsideration asking the anti-graft court to hold the wedding in Tanay.
This time, Flaminiano is asking the Sandiganbayan to allow Estrada to attend the wedding of his son at the St. John The Baptist Parish Church in San Juan.
A photocopy of the wedding invitation was attached to the motion Flaminiano filed before the anti-graft court.
Ejercito will be wed to his long-time fiancée Cindy Lotuaco on June 9 at 6 p.m. The reception will be held at the NBC Tent at Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City.
Flaminiano also asked the Sandiganbayan to allow Estrada, under such reasonable terms and conditions the court may impose, to attend the reception after the wedding.
Flaminiano said they are constrained to move for the withdrawal of the second motion for reconsideration because time constraints have rendered it difficult to change the venue of the wedding and reception.
