Makati businesses urged to pay taxes early

The Makati City government is reminding business owners to pay their taxes and renew their permits and licenses on or before Jan. 20 to avoid penalties for late payment.
The Business Permit and License Office (BPLO) started accepting applications yesterday. It will also be open on Saturday, Jan. 13 and Sunday, Jan.14, from 8 a.m. until the last client is served.
Application forms for business permits can be downloaded from the citys website (www.makati.gov.ph) and are also available at the citys 33 barangay halls. Rhodina Villanueva
