Operatives of the Makati City police arrested a family driver who was caught in the act of performing a penis enlargement operation inside a parked car on Tuesday.
Wilfredo Agliem, 45, of Manukan Extension, Las Piñas, was nabbed for illegal practice of medicine and unauthorized possession of regulated drugs.
SPO4 Danny Diaz, follow-up section chief, said the suspect was collared in an entrapment operation at around 2:40 p.m. at a parking area in Rockwell.
He said Agliem was about to inject silicon into an undercover police officers penis when he was arrested.
"The entrapment operation was conducted based on a complaint of someone who was allegedly victimized by the suspect," Diaz told The Star.
The complainant, he explained, sought the help of ABS-CBNs "XXX" program after learning that he was injected with petroleum jelly instead of silicon, which caused an infection.
Diaz said Agliem, who has earned the nickname "Dr. Humps," charges P1,500 to P1,800 for a penis enlargement operation through silicon implant.
Seized from the suspect were needles and other instruments along with anesthesia, a drug which cannot be purchased without a doctors prescription. Diaz said the suspect will face additional charges for possession of the regulated drug which, if administered at improper dosage, can cause harm or even kill.
