Cop relieved for harassing cop

A Pasay police officer was relieved from his post after he was accused of sexual harassment by a female colleague.

Police Community Precinct 6 Commander Victor Pagulayan was relieved after a female police officer of the women’s desk of the Pasay City Police Station lodged a complaint.

The desk receives complaints and cases involving female victims.

Senior Superintendent Marietto Valerio, Pasay police chief, said Pagulayan, now detailed at the District Inspectorate Unit of the Southern Police District, was replaced by Police Inspector Joey Goforth, who was previously head of the station’s intelligence department.

Valerio said the policewoman had complained of verbal sexual harassment and that Pagulayan often teased her. There was no physical contact.

However, the policewoman lodged a complaint following remarks about a month ago that she found offensive, Valerio said.
