2 witnesses to shed light on ad exec’s slay

The Mandaluyong police have in its custody two witnesses who could shed light on the brutal slay of an advertising executive last Thursday.

The two witnesses claimed they saw a visitor enter the condo unit of Donnabel Espana Tolentino, 35, assistant vice president for media of MGM Advertising, hours before her body was discovered at around 8:40 p.m.

Tolentino lives at E.G. Lentine Mansion, Barangay Highway Hills.

Superintendent Ericson Velasquez, Mandaluyong City police chief, said the two witnesses were neighbors of the victim.

He said a police artist would prepare the cartographic sketch of the victim’s "visitor" anytime this week.

Velasquez said Tolentino knew her killer because no forced entry was noticed in her condo unit.

Earlier, Velasquez said crime analysts found scratches on the victim’s body that suggested rape, but he pointed out that they look like old injuries and may not be connected to her death.

Velasquez has requested the crime laboratory of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to immediately release their findings on the examination of Tolentino’s body.

He said he has yet to talk to the victim’s relatives for they might have an idea of who could have wanted her dead.
