Fire razes shops in Las Piñas

Four commercial establishments were destroyed by a fire in Las Piñas City last Wednesday night. Senior Fire Officer 1 Gerardo Porley, arson investigator, said the fire which started 8:12 p.m., originated from the ceiling of the Osk Auto Supply Shop owned by a certain Celsa Hizole.
The blaze immediately spread to three neighboring establishments a computer store, a hardware and a vulcanizing shop along.
Alabang-Zapote Road, Barangay Talon Uno in Las Piñas.
No one was reported hurt in the blaze.
The fire, which was contained at 11:14 p.m., had reached Task Force Alpha.
A total of 16 firetrucks responded to the alarm.
Porley said they have yet to determine the cause of the blaze.
