US shelf unveiled at QC library

The Quezon City government and the US Embassy have unveiled an American shelf at the Quezon City Public Library.
Council majority leader Antonio "Ariel " Inton said US cultural affairs officer Bruce Armstrong and Elnor Conti of the Thomas Jefferson Library attended the launching ceremony at the library in the City Hall compound.
Inton said students would greatly benefit from the books donated by the US Embassy, particularly those on history and science and technology.
"Students should learn from our past to guide us in the correct path. They also have to focus on science and technology to make us globally competitive," Inton said. Perseus Echeminada
