Echiverri particularly asked for the release of land titles for the residents of Bagong Barrio and Bagong Silang in District 1 and Dagat-Dagatan in District 2.
"Bahagi ng ating programa na maitaas ang dignidad ng ating mga residente. At ang pagkakaloob ng titulo ng lupa sa mga nakabayad na ay patunay na kanila talaga ang lupang kinatitirikan ng kanilang tahanan," he said.
The mayor said the residents will take good care of their lands once they have received their land titles as it is the proof that they are the real owners of the property.
Last Friday, the mayor led the awarding of land titles to NHA beneficiaries in Bagong Silang held during the Serbisyo Muna Caravan at Kalayaan Elementary School.
Among those who received their titles were land owners Reynaldo Esteban, Domeciano Dumagpi Jr., Ronimilia Oserin, Irene So, Arnel Donayco, Virgilio Lopez, Eernesto Piloton, Joel Erive, Tito Matira and Herminigildo Lee.Echiverri also led the awarding of license to operate Botika ng Barangay outlets to the barangay chairmen in Bagong Silang.
