Army man kills wife in Taguig

A heated argument with her soldier-husband resulted in the death of a policewoman in Taguig City yesterday morning.
Senior Police Officer 2 Regie Gapasin identified the victim as Police Officer 1 Margaux Garcia Jumayon detailed at the Police Security Protection Office in Camp Crame.
The suspect was identified as 1Lt. Jose Hisosimo Jumayon, assigned at the 9th Engineering Division of the Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio.
Initial investigation conducted by the Taguig police showed that the incident happened around 7 a.m. inside the couples house in Fort Bonifacio.
Police said that the victim accused the husband of seeing another woman. During the heated exchange of words, the suspect strangled the victim with his bare hands.
The suspect has surrendered and is now in the custody of the Philippine Army. Rhodina Villanueva
