Wanted drug peddler arrested in Muntinlupa

The intensified anti-drug campaign of the Muntinlupa City government has led to the arrest of one of the 10 most wanted drug pushers in the city.
Elements of the Station Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Force (SAID-SOTF) nabbed Hitlito Baldonado, 43, of the Kelly Compound in Barangay Alabang in a recent buy-bust.
Three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu, were seized by anti-drug operatives.
Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Office (DAPCO) head Chito Valerio said Baldonado has been tagged in multiple criminal cases, including three counts of murder in his barangay, car theft and possession of unlicensed firearms on top of his illegal drug activities.
Valerio said the suspect is included in the list of top 10 most wanted drug pushers and users in the city.
Baldonado has been the subject of numerous text messages in DAPCOs hotline. The complaints detail his alleged criminal activities.
A month-long surveillance was conducted before the SAID-SOTF set up a buy-bust operation against Baldonado.
Meanwhile, anti-drug operatives nabbed another drug pusher at around 10 p.m. last Wednesday. The suspect was identified as Dante Bombasi, 32, of Barangay Poblacion in Muntinlupa.
Seized from the suspect was a sachet of shabu.
Valerio said the arrests were part of stepped-up anti-illegal drugs operations under DAPCOs "Jail the Pusher, Save the User campaign.
