June 11, 2006 | 12:00am
A dance instructor, who shot dead a neighbor last Thursday, returned to the scene of the crime yesterday and was arrested by intelligence operatives in Caloocan City.
Chief Inspector Crisencio Galvez, Caloocan police intelligence section chief, identified the suspect as Alberto Villanueva, alias Gilbert, 34.
The victim was Baltazar Fajardo, 37, a traffic enforcer of the city halls Reformed Department of Public Safety and Traffic Management (RDPSTM).
Probers said Fajardo already had a run-in previously with Villanueva for allegedly teasing the dance instructor about his homosexuality.
Villanueva immediately fled after the shooting, taking with him the weapon.
Yesterday at around noon, the suspect returned to the neighborhood for still unexplained reasons and was spotted by concerned neighbors, who reported his presence in the area. Jerry Botial
