Number coding resumes Monday

Full implementation of the Unified Vehicle Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP), or number coding scheme, will resume on Monday, June 5, after being suspended for two months during the school summer break.
"Were back to normal. We expect our roads to be busy since classes will begin on Monday so we need the publics cooperation," Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Executive Director Angelito Vergel de Dios said.
MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando ordered a two-month suspension of the UVVRP last April 5 through a resolution of the Metro Mayors Council. Michael Punongbayan
