RSAU Team B posted an aggregate score of 16.34 points to win the SWAT games trophy donated by Metro police chief Director Vidal Querol.
Querol said the annual inter-SWAT competition aims to test the shooting skills and proficiency of all SWAT units in Metro Manila.
The two-day event held at the NCRPO shooting range in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig was participated in by at last 19 teams from the NCRPO and its five police districts.
The first two years of the inter-SWAT competition has been dominated by RSAU unit under Superintendent Roberto Villanueva.
Coming in second was the SWAT team of the Malabon City police, which posted an aggregate score of 7.90 points. The SWAT team of the Parañaque City police, Pasig City police, Pasay City police registered a score of 7.59, 7.38, and 7.36 points, respectively.
Querol will award the trophy to Villanueva during the traditional flag-raising ceremony at the NCRPO headquarters on Monday. Non Alquitran
