Fires hit factories in Valenzuela

A fire of still undetermined origin hit a detergent factory at the eastern end of the city late yesterday afternoon in Valenzuela.
No one was reported killed or injured in the incident.
Superintendent Agapito Nacario, city fire marshal, said the fire which started at 4:45 p.m. reached the fifth alarm and was put under control by 5:15 p.m.
Razed was the Magic Lins Manufacturing Co. along Sacred Heart street, East Canumay, Valenzuela.
Nacario said the cause of the fire and damage to property have yet to be determined.
Even before the Canumay fire was put under control, a second fire broke out at the Fema Plastics factory on Calle Onse in Barangay Gen. T. de Leon.
