Job fair in QC

-
The Quezon City government will hold a job fair tomorrow as part of the city’s celebration of the 20th anniversary of people power.

The city’s Industrial Relations Office (IRO) said the job fair, which involves 75 local and 25 overseas employment agencies, will be held at the City Hall covered court from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

IRO chief Ignacio Santos said 10,000 local and overseas jobs opportunities would be offered.

Jobs fairs have been among the priority program of Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr. to provide employment opportunities for city residents.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and other national agencies are also supporting the employment program of the city government. Perseus Echeminada
