Valenzuelas No.8 most wanted falls

Northern Police District intelligence agents have arrested Valenzuela Citys eighth most wanted criminal in a follow-up operation.
Chief Inspector Jimili Macaraeg, NPD-District Police Intelligence Unit (DPIU) chief; identified the suspect as Ronnie Poe Linchoco, 35, a resident of Barangay Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela City.
Macaraeg said that Linchoco is listed as the No. 8 most wanted by the Valenzuela City police for charges of two counts of homicide and one count of rape in 2004 with the local Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 171.
At around 5:30 p.m. last Saturday, the NPD-DPIU was informed that the suspect, who had been in hiding for the past two years, was spotted at his residence.
Macaraeg immediately formed a team, led by SPO4 Antonio Tenorio, to go to the area and arrest the suspect.
The DPIU operatives were armed with two warrants of arrest issued by Valenzuela City RTC Branch 171 Judge Maria Nena Santos.
The suspect is set to be turned over today by the DPIU to Valenzuela authorities.
Santos recommended no bail for the rape charges against the suspect.
