JCI Sen. JorgeBanal, former Quezon City Council Pro-Tempore and 2005 national senate president, said Junior Chamber International (JCI) 1976 world president and Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. will be the keynote speaker during the opening ceremonies while past JCI world president Victor "Chichos" Luciano will be the inducting officer for the new set of officers of the Philippine Jaycee Senate for year 2006, with past JCI world president Crispin Dy as the charging officer.
Some 400 JCI senators, Jaycees and guests are expected to converge in Bohol.
Features of the three-day convention include a Loboc River Cruise where lunch will be served and a visit to the 400-year-old Loboc Church.
The world famous Loboc Childrens Choir will entertain delegates and guests. Two plenary sessions will be devoted to the reports and accomplishments of the national organization and its officials.
A Hawaiian Fellowship Night will greet and welcome the Senate delegates, which will be welcomed by the traditional hospitality and musical entertainment which Bohol is known for.
The Presidential Ball will include the giving of Presidential Awards to deserving JCI senators.
The election of the 2006 National Board and its officers is a much-awaited event which will put to test the newly amended by-laws of the Organization. The convention ends with a Thanksgiving Mass.
