Pasig canal yields body

A still unidentified body was found dumped in an open canal in Pasig City yesterday.
A report to Superintendent Gerry Galvan, special investigation division chief of the Pasig City police, said the male victim was found at around 6 a.m. along Eusebio Avenue in San Miguel, Pasig City.
The report said the victim had a computer cable wire tied around his neck. Both hands were tied with galvanized iron wire.
A police team, led by Inspector Marilyn Lopez, conducted an examination of the scene.
The body was later brought to the Philippine National Police (PNP) crime laboratory for autopsy.
