Senior Police Officer 4 Rolando Santiago, case investigator, identified the suspects, all residents of Bgy. San Antonio. They are: Samuel Capito, alias Chen, 42, married, jobless and resident of Sta. Ana Street, SAV-5, Herminigildo Pontillas, alias Jun, 30, married, jobless, of Sta. Maria, SAV-1, Ramon Navales, alias Mon, 48, single, government employee, of No. 33-B Hernandez Street, SAV-1, Ramon Ebrada, alias Monching, 48, single, jobless, of Escolastica Street, SAV-1, Conrad Verbera, alias Allan, 25, married, taxi driver, of Villamor Village, Ipil-2 Street and Gilvencio Sambajon, 32, single, driver, of Sta. Maria SAV-A. Others are: Eduardo Gripon, 51, married, water pipe maker, of No. 19-A Sto. Nino; Jose Jesus Singo, alias Boy, 33, married, mechanic, of No. 272 RD-4, Pildera II, NAIA Pasay City; and Gladys Pilapil, 25, single, guest relations officer, of SAV-1, Bgy. San Antonio.
Santiago said that after receiving information that a group is engaged in illegal drug activities in the area, they immediately proceeded to a house located along Sta. Ana Street, SAV-5 in Bgy. San Antonio. Santiagos group found the suspects huddled together while having pot session. The nine suspects were apprehended and brought to the police station. Appropriate charges are now being readied against the alleged shabu users.
The Parañaque police were able to confiscate 12 sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (metamphetamine chloride) as well as assorted drug paraphernalias from the suspects. Rhodina Villanueva
