My Way claims another life in QC

For singing "My way" an ice plant operator was stabbed and hacked to death by a group of passing men who got irritated with his song "My Way" in San Roque, Bgy. Pag-asa, Quezon City the other night, police and radio reports said yesterday.
A report from the Quezon City Police District, criminal investigation identified the victim as Charlie Isidro, 43 years old, an ice plant operator and resident of Bgy. San Roque 11.
The report did not say what song the victim was singing but a radio report said neighbors overheard the victim singing "My Way" shortly before midnight Monday during a drinking session with his relatives in their house when a group of men who passed by got irritated the way the victim was singing the song.
The suspects identified as Erickson Fabayos, 23, Joseph Mabunga, Armando Loregay and two unidentified companions threw stones and empty bottles at the house where the irritating tune was coming.
When Isidro went out to verify the stoning incident the suspects after a heated argument allegedly took turns in hacking and stabbing the victim.
Responding policemen arrested the three suspects but their two other companions fled under the cover of darkness.
The victim who suffered hack and stab wounds in the right arms, head and face was declared dead upon arrival at the Quezon City general hospital.
Police operatives are still determining the identity of the two suspects who fled after the incident.
