Three dead in Payatas grenade blast

-
Three persons were killed when a grenade exploded inside a house in Payatas, Quezon City yesterday afternoon, police said.

Central Police District director Chief Superintendent Nicasio Radovan said the blast took place on Kamia street, Lower Jasmin Payatas A.

"So far, we have no details," Radovan told The STAR.

However, radio station dzBB identified the victims as Sabima Kasam, 45, Moda Agino, 32, and a certain Ming.

The report said that at around 4 p.m., neighbors heard a heated argument inside the house. Later a shot was fired followed by an explosion.

As of press time yesterday, crime scene investigators and bomb experts were still processing the scene for evidence. — Perseus Echeminada
