Investigators said Renato Napatutan, 31, of Hermoso Compound, Barangay Dalandanan, Valenzuela City sustained several gunshot wounds in the body from a caliber .38 revolver issued to suspect Dominguito Maestro, 36, of the Polo Security Integrated Services, and both working for the Elison Steel Bar Manufacturing at the Hermoso Compound.
Police said the shooting may have stemmed from the guards alleged strict implementation of company rules which the victim resented.
The animosity apparently grew between the two which later led to the shooting.
PO3 Ronald Bautista, officer on case, said the incident occurred at around 7:45 p.m. last Thursday as the victim was just getting out of the company premises.
As the victim dropped to the ground, the suspect reportedly approached and, even as the victim pleaded for his life, the suspect allegedly fired more shots before quickly fleeing the crime scene.
A manhunt for Maestro has been conducted by the local police.
