Water service cutoff in QC, Caloocan

Some areas of Novaliches in Quezon City, unaffected by the raw water supply shortage will have no water for 16 hours starting at 9 p.m. tomorrow, May 18, until 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 19.
Areas that will have no water include Novaliches Proper, Barangay Sta. Monica, Barangay Gulod, Barangay San Agustin and Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon.
The water service interruption is due to the repair of a defective 400-mm butterfly valve along Susano Road corner Arsen street in Novaliches.
There will also be a water service interruption in some areas of Caloocan City and Quezon City for 18 hours starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, May 20, until 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 21. This is due to the installation of a full bore flowmeter along EDSA near corner Mariano street in Caloocan City.
Areas that will have no water for 18 hours include the following: In Caloocan City, a portion of East Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, EDSA, A. Bonifacio Avenue and 10th Avenue as well as a portion of Morning Breeze bounded by McArthur Highway, Lanzones, Tirad Pass, NDR and EDSA; In Quezon City, a portion of Barangay Balingasa along Sto. Cristo street and A. Bonifacio Avenue areas that will have low pressure to no water for 18 hours.
Areas that will have no low pressure to no water for 18 hours include a portion of East Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, 9th Avenue, A. Bonifacio and 8th Ave. in Caloocan City, as well as portions of Morning Breeze bounded by McArthur Highway, Zapote, NDR and EDSA in Caloocan City.
Repair and maintenance works are part of Maynilads continuing program to upgrade and improve its water service to its customers in the West Zone.
Affected customers are advised to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption.
They may also call Maynilad Water Hotline 1626 or text Maynilad through Smart 7001626 for the water-rationing schedule.
