Pusher by day, holdup man by night arrested

A notorious neighborhood toughie, who has taken on a dual job as drug pusher during the day and as a holdup man at night "due to the hard times," fell into the hands of authorities in his lair yesterday in Caloocan City.
Superintendent Napoleon Cuaton, Station Investigation and Detection Management Bureau (SIDMB) chief, said his men found four grams of shabu and a homemade caliber .38 revolver loaded with four bullets on alleged Sigue-Sigue Sputnik gang member Edgardo Servanes, alias Bong Taga, 37, a resident of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.
Servanes surrendered when collared by Cuatons men, who conducted an operation in the area.
He was nabbed at 9 a.m. after police confirmed reports about the open sale of illegal drugs in the neighborhood. Jerry Botial
