NCPRPO to honor outstanding personnel

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) will honor today deserving personnel for exemplary performance and devotion to duty.
Metro police chief Director Ricardo de Leon said the awardees will be led by Superintendent Ericson Velasquez, Mandaluyong City police chief, for his leadership in neutralizing two bus robbery gangs that resulted to the killing of three suspects and the arrest of three others.
Velasquez will receive the Medalya ng Kasanayan in todays rites at Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig.
To be given certificates of distinguished service were officers and enlisted personnel who have just retired or about to reach the mandatory retirement age of 56.
These include Senior Superintendent Rustico Cabagua (Headquarters Security Group), Senior Superintendent William Coronado (Manila police), Senior Superintendent Oscar Versoza (Traffic Enforcement Group ), Superintendent Ronnie Lactaotao (HSG), SPO4 Fulgencio Angeles, SPO4 Pedro Arbis (HSG), SPO3 Ricardo Esperanza(Southern Police District), SPO4 Imelda Vilma Duque (Central Police District), and SPO4 Clodualdo Beto (Eastern Police District).
The NCRPO Honesty teams, which accounted for the arrest of 117 people for extortion activities under Oplan Kotong, will also be given the Medalya ng Kasanayan. Non Alquitran
