Former movie actor and re-elected Manila Councilor Isko Moreno lost his P1.2-million sport utility vehicle, assorted jewelry and two cellular phones to four robbers in Quezon City early yesterday.
Reports reaching the Kamuning police station said the 29-year-old Moreno (Francisco Dumagosa in real life) of Balut, Tondo was driving his brand-new Nissan X-Trail on Scout Fuentabella street at about 1:30 a.m. when his path was blocked by a maroon Mitsubishi Lancer without license plates.
Three men armed with pistols and M16 rifles alighted from the car. At gunpoint, the suspects dragged Moreno out of his SUV and divested him of his two Nokia cell phones worth P44,000, an Omega watch worth P80,000 and a wedding ring worth P7,000.
After divesting him of his valuables, the suspects ordered Moreno to get back inside his vehicle with one of the robbers at the steering wheel.
At the vicinity of Camelot Hotel, Moreno was dropped off. He then reported the incident to police. Mike Frialde
