18 police units, individuals to recieve award today

At least 18 special units, regional commands and private individuals will be honored today during the celebration of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AID-SOTF).
No less than President Arroyo will be the guest of honor during the brief affair to be held at the Heroes Hall of the Malacañang Palace.
Because of tight security at the Palace grounds, only 200 guests were invited to the event, including Philippine National Police Police (PNP) chief Director General Hermogenes Ebdane and AID-SOTF chief Director General Edgar Aglipay, who will lead the list of awardees.
Archbishop of Cebu Ricardo Cardinal Vidal will be handed a plaque of recognition for his full support to the governments war against illegal drugs.
All awardees will recieve from the President the Philippine Legion of Honor award. Non Alquitran
