Remains of Candice brought to Naga

The remains of rape-slay victim Candice Castro have been taken to her hometown of Naga City yesterday morning.
"It is now time for us to lay her to rest," Grace Castro, Candices mother told The STAR in a telephone interview.
Mrs. Castro will not stop pursuing cases against the alleged killers until her daughter gets justice.
The mother said the remains was taken to Funeraria Imperial in Naga City, and will be bought to her final resting place at the Sto. Niño Memorial Park on Friday afternoon. The family left Funeraria Paz on Araneta Avenue in Quezon City at around 5 p.m. yesterday.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Western Police District (WPD) are now tracking down Babes Reyes, who was being tagged as the mastermind of the of rape-slay.
Castro, a bank teller, was found dead inside her condo unit in Malate, Manila last May 12. The body had 24 stab wounds.
Reyes, in a recent TV interview, denied any knowledge in the killing of Candice, contrary to the claims of arrested suspect Philippe Marcelo.
He has since been in hiding after he was tagged by Marcelo. Cecille Suerte Felipe
