Twin fires hit Sampaloc district

Two fires broke out in Sampaloc, Manila yesterday, destroying property estimated at P3 million.
The first fire hit a vacant 14-door apartment on Lavandero street in Bustillos, Sampaloc at 1:26 a.m. The blaze was contained at 2:52 a.m.
At around 11:19 a.m., another fire broke out at the second floor of a two-story building along Moret street.
Flames also damaged a portion of the four-door apartment owned by the Cone Development Corp. The fire was put out at around 11:43 a.m.
