16-hour water cut-off in Valenzuela

Parts of Valenzuela City will have no water starting at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21 and until 2 p.m. the following day.
Maynilad Water Services Inc. said that the 16-hour water services interruption will pave the way for the repair of a blow-off valve along McArthur Highway in Valenzuela City and the insertion of a 500-mm butterfly valve on the existing 500-mm diameter mainline near the Valenzuela Cockpit Arena.
The areas to be affected in Valenzuela City are Barangays Marulas, Karuhatan, Malinta, Malanday, Balubaran, Pulo, Gen. T. De Leon, San Miguel Corp., Cosmos Bottling Corp., Obando Water District, Meycauayan Water District and Fatima General Hospital.
Barangays Panghulo, Maysilo and Santolan in Malabon will also have no water.
Customers in the said areas are advised to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption. They may also call Maynilad Hotline 1626 for the water rationing schedule.
