Lina honors eight cops

Interior and Local Government Secretary Jose Lina Jr. honored yesterday two slain policemen and six other members of the National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) for their bravery in the performance of their duties.
PO1 Diosdado Campos, a member of the 3rd Special Action Command of the NCRPOs regional special action unit (RSAU), and PO2 Restituto Soria, of the Caloocan City police station, received the posthumous award for bravery.
Other awardees were PO1 Rolly Fernandez, of the Valenzuela police station; PO1s Nestor Saldevar, Fernando Gano, Ernesto Sofia, Solomon Wanbay, all of the NCRPO RSAU; and PO1 Rodolfo Chin, of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) of the Central Police District (CPD). Non Alquitran
