Water service interruption in Cainta

Manila Water has announced a 14-hour water interruption in Cainta due to a large valve replacement project along Marcos Highway near E. Rodriguez in Pasig City.

The project, which will upgrade the lines and improve water distribution in the area, will render some areas in Cainta and Ortigas Extension waterless from 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, up to 12 noon on Wednesday, March 3.

The affected areas will be Ortigas Extension — from Felix Avenue junction to Gen. Ricarte — and adjacent areas including Bayanihan, Sunrise Avenue, Sunset Drive, Valley Golf Drive, Youngstown Subdivision and subdivisions along Ortigas Extension.

Manila Water is advising residents in the affected areas to store enough water prior to the scheduled water service interruptions. For updates, call Manila Water’s customer hotline: 1627.
