Two members of the notorious Estribo Gang were collared by the police yesterday in Caloocan City.
Senior Superintendent Benjardi Mantele, Caloocan City police chief, said the arrest was prompted by complaints from four holdup victims who declined to be named.
Probers said the victims were held up on board a passenger jeepney while cruising along Sitio Barugo Road, in Barangay Camarin at about 10 p.m. Thursday.
Four armed suspects quickly divested the victims of their cash and valuables before fleeing.
Police later traced the suspects in their hideout at Phase 10, Package 1 in Bagong Silang through informants.
