Couple robbed in QC

Six armed men robbed two entrepreneurs of some P2-million in cash the other night in Quezon City.
Police identified the victims as Jose Joven Banania, 45, and his wife Delia, 40, of 333 Batasan Hills.
Initial investigation revealed that the couple, who were aboard their Toyota Revo, with licence plates XJF-749, had just stopped along Fort Santiago Street, Barangay Bago Bantay at around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday when five armed men suddenly appeared and surrounded their vehicle.
The suspects ssmashed the window of the vehicle, forcibly opened its door, and boarded the vehicle.
The suspects drove the vehicle around until they have divested the victims of their money.
The victims told police that the suspects pulled over upon reaching Veterans Village in Proj. 7.
Two of the suspects boarded a waiting motorcycle with another man while the others fled on foot to escape.
