The parents and brothers of Coca-Cola executive Betti Chua Sy visited the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) yesterday to thank its officials and agents for the arrest of her suspected kidnappers.
The Chua Sys met with officials of the NBI-Reaction Arrest and Interdiction Division (RAID), which was instrumental to the surrender of three of the suspects.
The victims relatives arrived at the NBI office on Taft Avenue in Manila at around 10:30 a.m. They, however, failed to meet NBI Director Reynaldo Wycoco, who was outside the office for an official function. The NBI has now in its custody the three suspects, identified as Baby Tamayo, Ma. Editha Demol and her brother Ramil.
The three confessed participation in the abduction and killing of Chua Sy, who was abducted in Quezon City last Nov. 17. Cecille Suerte Felipe
