Journalist-broadcaster Erick San Juan together with his vice mayoralty candidate, congressmen and councilors, has filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for mayor of San Juan under the Lakas party.

San Juan, who served as a former director of the National Security Council of President Arroyo will also be supported by other political parties and NGOs.

PR practitioner and socialite Poncy Quirino, a grandson of the late president Elpidio Quirino is his vice mayoralty candidate while retired police Gen. Adam Jimenez will be his congressional candidate.

San Juan is a known radio commentator of Angel Radio, dwBL, and dwAN radio, journalist, book author, lecturer, civic leader and research analyst.

He is also known for his letters to the editor valued contributions to several newspapers in the Philippines and abroad. He moderates for several kapihan.
