The plaques will be given to the policemen after the flag-raising ceremony.
Police have filed robbery charges against the suspects. Ryan Justimbaste, an AWOL employee of the department, allegedly masterminded the heist.
Justimbaste was positively identified by three SSDD employees who were help up on their way to their nearby office after obtaining the cash from a Landbank branch on Sept. 26.
Belmonte said the apprehension of the three suspects was the result of the relentless drive of the police against all forms of lawlessness and criminality in the city as well as the continuing perseverance and dedication of the citys law enforcers who continue to remain true to their profession.
Meanwhile, the CPD reported that 29 barangays in the city has been cleared of illegal drugs following an intensified clearing operations conducted by the police.
Among the barangays cleared by the police are Salvacion, Damar, N.S. Amoranto, St. Peter, Lourdes, A. Samson, Proj. 6, Vasra, Sto. Cristo, Alicia, Talipapa, Unang Sigaw, Balumbato, Novaliches Proper, Nagkaisang Nayon, San Agustin, Escopa 2 & 4, Obrero, Paligsahan, Dona Aurora, Dona Imelda, Kalusugan, Mariana, Sto. Niño, San Isidro, Santol, Don Manuel and Kristong Hari.
