3 women workers accidentally shot

Three women workers were seriously injured after they were accidentally shot by a security guard while waiting for their weekend salary at a foodstuff factory in Valenzuela City on Saturday.
Charodel Medino, 23; Maribel Tabacon, 22; and Karen de Guzman, all workers of W.L. Food Products Inc., sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the body.
The victims are now being treated at the Sta. Clara de Montefalco Medical Hospital.
Police said that Medino, Tabacon and De Guzman were seated near the guardhouse of W.L. Food Products at around 5 p.m. when they were accidentally hit by stray bullets from the 12-gauge shotgun of security guard Julita Nasayao.
Nasayoas service firearm accidentally went off when he tried to remove the bullets. Pete Laude
