Another possible summary execution victim, whose body was cut into pieces, was found under a bridge in Quezon City yesterday morning.
The Central Police District-Criminal Investigation Unit (CPD-CIU) said the body parts, including a head, two arms and two legs of a man, were found around 6 a.m.
Police said a passerby discovered the body parts on the bank of the Dario River under the Del Monte Bridge on Del Monte Avenue, Barangay Masambong, Quezon City.
Curiosity prompted the passerby to check a black plastic bag, which to his surprise, contained the body parts of a man. No torso was found.
The body found yesterday was the third to be dumped in the city. Early this month, body parts of two men placed inside black plastic bags were also discovered in various places in the city. Pia Lee-Brago
