A dental materials supply company lost P.7 million worth of dental gold the other day from thieves who broke into its office in Parañaque City.
Prober Police Officer 2 MacArthur Encallado said Ruby Lyn Pacalda, stock clerk of Centra Dent, discovered the theft at around 6:17 a.m. when she went inside the office at the third floor of R. R. Belveder Building, Dr. A. Santos Avenue, San Dionisio, Parañaque.
Pacalda told probers that she discovered the office in disarray. She immediately notified her co-workers and later found out that the dental gold supply inside the stock room was missing, along with some P5,000 in still unclaimed salaries, police said.
The employees reported the incident to nearby Police Precinct 2.
Probers said their initial investigation revealed that the thieves did not forcibly enter the office, leading him to suspect a possible inside job.
Police are now checking the office log and time records. Edu Punay
