Baby Girl Tamaray, born to couple Alma and Jose Tamaray, 30, of Barangay Bago Bantay, Quezon City, was placed inside an incubator with a ventilator machine attached to her weak body due to a series of oxygen desaturation.
Her health will continue to deteriorate if proper medical attention is not given. She remained in an unstable condition.
Despite the childs episodic desaturation, the Tamaray couple is hopeful they will survive Gods challenge, and therefore they are knocking on the hearts of good people who could offer them help. The couple wanted to see the child alive.
They, however, complained they could no longer shoulder the high costs of medicine.
Moreover, the childs prolonged stay in the hospital has incurred unpaid accumulated billings.
"God is a good provider. We put our faith in him," they said.
They pray hard each night not only for the sake of their own child, but for all the suffering children of the world.
Alma, 28, was earlier admitted to CGH due to vaginal bleeding caused by an inverted placenta, prompting her attending physicians to recommend caesarian operation on Sept. 29.
"The baby was born weak and afflicted with Hyaline membrane disease, oxygen desaturation and had jaundice," said Dra. Christine Teh, attending specialist consultant.
The Tamaray couple is hopeful to find people who are more than willing to help them. They can call the hospital directly for more information.
