Ramil Gonzales, 49, of Looban 3, Sitio Sulucan in Barangay Hulong Duhat, succumbed to a single bullet wound on his back.
Police prober PO2 Mario Gallardo said that Gonzales was sitting on a chair inside his printing and photo shop office at 24 F. Sevilla Boulevard in Malabon City at around 1 p.m. when the suspect approached him from behind and shot him point blank.
The gunman escaped through the back door but left behind in haste the weapon he used in killing Gonzales a .22 caliber revolver loaded with five live bullets and one empty shell.
Police rushed the victim to the Tondo Medical Center for treatment but was declared dead on arrival by the hospitals attending physician.
Gallardo said he invited for questioning Gonzales older brother, Siquel, 55, who reportedly has a disagreement with the victim.
Gallardo added that Siquel, who is residing within the compound of his brothers business establishment, was the last person seen with the victim before the fatal shooting occurred.
