Killer maid on the loose

The Pasig City police are now conducting a manhunt for a 43-year-old housemaid who allegedly killed and robbed her employer yesterday morning.
Police identified the suspect as Esterlina Rabaca de Libid, a native of Cebu, and resident of 1180 Velasquez street, Tondo, Manila.
De Libid is suspected of killing her emloyer, 50-year-old Lydia Sampana, a widow and resident of 29 Sherry street, Bartville Subdivision, Barangay De la Paz, Pasig, by suffocating her with a pillow and then taking her handbag containing a still undetermined amount of cash and jewelry before dawn yesterday.
Sampanas lifeless body was discovered by her niece, Eden Balangue, at around 8:20 a.m. Balangue told probers that she last saw her aunt alive last Oct. 2.
It was learned that the suspect was employed by Sampana through an employment agency located in Paco, Manila. Rainier Allan Ronda
