4-hour water cut-off in Malabon, Caloocan City

Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced yesterday that parts of Malabon and Caloocan City will have no water for four hours starting at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and until 3 a.m. of the following day.
The water service interruption is due to the dry-run of the de-watering of a 600-mm mainline at Samson Road corner Torres Bugallon St., Caloocan City in preparation for the insertion of a 300-mm gate valve.
In Caloocan City, the areas that will be affected include: 7th Ave., 8th Ave., 9th Ave., 10th Ave., 12th Ave., all West Grace Park, Heroes del 96, UE Subdivision, Samson Road, Julian Felipe and A. Mabini.
Meanwhile, in Malabon, Barangays Tañong, Agustin, Longos, and Tonsuya, Paradise Village, along Borromeo and lateral streets and Dagat-Dagatan will be affected. Barangay Ibaba will have low water pressure. Residents in the affected areas may call Maynilad Hotline 1629 for water rationing schedules.
