An easy P2 M for robbers

-
A Filipino-Chinese businesswoman from Quezon City lost some P2 million in cash and valuables brought by the former’s gullible housemates to members of the so-called "Dugo-Dugo Gang" last Friday afternoon in Caloocan City.

It was too late for Rose Tin, 40, married, of 829 Gardenia Lane, Bellevue Town Homes, Quezon City to warn or scold her housemaids Silveriana Sicabalo, 37, of Zamobanga del Sur and Len Jane romano, 26, of Mati, Davao Oriental for what happened. Tin sought the Station Intelligence and Investigation Division (SIID) for assistance to collar the suspects and hopefully recover the loot.

Records showed the incident took place at around 3 p.m. near a convenience store beside the MCU Hospital along EDSA in Monumento. The househleps told probers they received a phone call from the suspects telling them that their employer had figured in a car collision and is in grave condition adding that Tin has been taken to the hospital. They told the naive housemaids that Tin needed a big amount of money for the hospital bills and other expenses relative to the accident. They ordered them to get everything of value, cash and jewelry particularly and give them all to them (suspects) at the meeting place.

The two unsuspecting women left the house and upon arrival at the meeting place, were met by a man who allegedly introduced himself as a doctor and took the loot from them. – Jerry Botial
