A statement from the municipal government said the man used a VIP ticket to gain entry into the much-hyped party.
Once inside, he demanded for a table and food stubs.
The organizers obliged and yet, the man still complained that he was not being treated well despite being the mayor of Taguig, the statement quoted FHM publisher, Lisa Gokongwei.
The man threatened the organizers that he would not sign permit for future FHM projects then left in a huff.
FHM admitted that none of the staff at the party had met the real Mayor Tinga, municipal information officer Ana Santos told The STAR.
The day after the naughty party, FHM called up the town hall to inquire if Mayor Tinga was "inconvenienced" at the party and if so, apologize to him.
However, the real Mayor Tinga told FHM that on Wednesday night, he was in the thick of a basketball game for the district championships of the Taguig Basketball Association (TBA) at the C.P. Tinga Gym in Barangay Hagonoy.
Tinga played for The Ducks against the Ususan All-Stars. The Ducks won by a mere two points.
The statement quoted the mayor as warning "event organizers to be careful of impostors who might try to get VIP treatment at the expense of public officials like him."
