New PNP generals

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has two more police generals after President Arroyo approved the promotion to star-rank of two senior officers.
Director General Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. yesterday administered the oath of office to newly-promoted Chief Superintendent Wilfredo Garcia and Chief Superintendent Jefferson Soriano during simple rites at Camp Crame.
Garcia, a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1974, is currently the deputy director for the PNP Directorate for Operations.
Soriano, class president of the PMA Magilas Class of 1976, is the incumbent secretary of the PNP Directorial Staff. Jaime Laude
