QC hospital offers training program

-
The Quezon City General Hospital is offering residency training for pediatrics as part of its professionalism development program, QCGH director Dr. Eduardo de Villa Salud announced yesterday.

Salud said there are 10 slots for first year residents available for the training program with corresponding monthly compensation.

Interested applicants are advised to submit their bio-data to the Hospital Training Office, QCGH Department of Pediatrics, Seminary Road, EDSA or to Dr. Rogelio Belleza, assistant director for professional services.

The QCGH Department of Pediatrics Residency Training Program has been accredited (IIA IIB) by the Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS) since 1980, with complete sub-specialty clinics and consultants.

The department offers a three-year residency training program, which has yielded a number of graduates who successfully passed the PPS examination. It is also implementing a more innovative and creative approach to child care and medical education.

For further inquiries, please call Dr. Marco Ferdinand Torres or Dr. Monina Bas-Pasubillo at telephone nos. 455-4801/455-5328/455-2162.
