Chief Inspector Mamerto Bernabe identified the victim as Abby Bueno Bey Li Yuan, who sustained a broken skull and bones.
"Her left face and lower jaw were broken because of the impact of the fall," he said.
Li Yuan reportedly graduated high school valedictorian at the Reedly International School in Pasig City in commencement exercises last March 30.
Bernabe said Li Yuan was last seen alive at around 7 a.m. by her nanny, Felly Saavedra, after the victim and her elder sister Ranza, 21, had a heart-to-heart talk inside their room at Unit 22-C of the Platinum 2000 Condominium located along Annapolis street in Greenhills.
According to policemen, the victim jumped from the back portion of the 22nd floor of the condominium at 9:23 a.m. Her body landed near the barracks of the Philippine National Police-Traffic Management Group at Camp Crame.
The victim was still in her pajamas when found by bystanders and policemen.
Saavedra earlier reported the victim missing to the security force of the condominium.
Police said Li Yuan was the third occupant of the condominium to commit suicide. Two years ago, it was former actress Maria Teresa Carlson, wife of former Ilocos Gov. Rodolfo Fariñas, who jumped to her death from her condo unit.
Superintendent Vladimir Villaseñor, medico-legal chief of the PNP Crime Laboratory, said Saavedra identified the victim through her pajamas. The victims sister became hysterical upon learning of what happened, Villaseñor said.
The victims father, James Bey Li Yuan, a Singaporean based in the Philippines, rushed to the scene moments later. He refused to have the body taken for autopsy by crime lab officers until a sister of his former wife arrived and intervened.
The mother, who has remarried and has been living in Switzerland, will arrive in Manila on Monday.
